I wrote this piece for string quartet on the Southwest Chief during the 20-hour trip from Albuquerque, New Mexico, to Fort Madison, Iowa. This is unfortunately not a real performance but some kind of MIDI thing with sampled instruments. I tried to make it somewhat classy sounding, though. Enjoy. (This one is rated D for dissonance.)
